On the auspicious occasion of Krishna Janmashtami, AVR and PT is very happy to announce the release of ‘Talks & Essays Vol 3’, a collection of Pujya Swamiji's talks, interviews, satsangs and writings compiled by Swamini Srividyananda Saraswati. The release function took place at the Annual Day function at Saylorsburg Gurukualm on August 12, 2018.
The first copies were received by Sw. Viditatmanandaji and other dignitaries.
The speakers then shared how Pujya Swamiji has inspired each one of them with his teachings on Vedanta and his Manav Seva programmes such as AIM for Seva and Dharma Rakshana Samiti.
Hard copies of 'Talks & Essays Volume 3' (with Part 1 & Part 2) can be ordered from the AVRPT website. In addition, the two parts of the 3rd volume of 'Talks & Essays' are also available in eBook format in the 'Teachings of Swami Dayananda' app for Android and iOS devices.
Pujya Swamiji's Foreword -
'Collection from an active person is always difficult, inasmuch as the chronicler has to keep pace with the movements, especially, if the person is a spiritual, religious leader, for every event must needs have a message. If the leader happens to be Swami Dayananda, the chronicler’s job is a tall order. The writer has to know the cliches of particular religious and spiritual terms and their nuances of meanings. With all this at the finger tips one can still make a mess of it if the grasp of the topic is incomplete. Swamini Srividyananda has all these qualities and a few more having been my personal secretary for a number of years.
